Only a few residents are left around Jenkinjones, but everyone I spoke with shared the story of the coal-haul truck that hit this bridge, breaking some of the big timbers.
Originally, this AEP facility was coal-fed and was one of the most efficient power plants in the country. Now fully converted to natural gas, the incoming rails are choked with empty coal cars.

Built in perfect solar alignment, this entire 8 mile canyon complex functions as a huge and ancient astronomical clock, accurately marking the day / night cycles and seasonal progressions, Equinox and Solstice, with Pueblo Bonito at its center. So Beautiful
